On 21st November 2004, Mr. Jan Bulik sent us a message regarding his father's military career, accompanied with a few interesting pictures. Mr. Bulik now lives in Trencin in Slovakia.

His father was born on 14th February 1925 had lived in France already since 1930, long before the Second World War started. Since 1st May 1944, he actively participated in the French Resistance, but later managed to get enlisted into the Free Czechoslovak Army, he received training and since December 1944 fought at Dunkirk as a member of the Czechoslovak Independent Armoured Brigade Group. leg, and received a decoration for his courage under fire. Mr. Bulik's father lived in France until 1947 and died in Czechoslovakia in 1962.

Any additional information as to his military career or any particular operations he took part in, as well as his assignment to a particular part of the C.I.A.B.G., would be most appreciated.
