A weekend away from Prague
A weekend trip in a Land-Rover - with beautiful, nearly tilt-off, wind-in-your-hair weather, that really was something. We've spent our last year's holiday in the countryside driving the Landy already, but a short, weekend trip could have accommodate a lot of experiences as well - and, in the end, it did.
After seeing one of our candidates for our family home, which we decided was too far away from our workplace in Prague, we spent a great lonely evening at a campsite, with nearly noone around, with the beautiful cracking sounds of a camp fire and the spectacular starry sky of dark, countryside night.
Pastures, rolling landscape, woods, greenlanes, dusty clouds behind a speeding topless Landy... Daydreaming indeed!
No other car would take us for any such trip, it's simply the nature of Series Land-Rovers that takes you to places which would be otherwise too distant to walk to and too boring to drive to in any other vehicle. |
